I often get asked how I make money through the web. Here I will list out how the web has helped me work for myself.
Services My primary way of monetizing the web is through selling services. Because I’ve been marketing my knowledge and myself or my ideas through the web, I get customers that pay me for my time. The internet in effect is a marketing tool for myself. This is also how you can monetize the web. You or your company can hire me either on the phone or to come teach/advice you in person.
Internet Ventures I have several online sites which sell software or knowledge. For instance, Webpreneur Academy teaches people about the web. ShopMarkaz is a software which helps people to put their businesses online (i.e. ecommerce). HostMarkaz is a hosting software.
Investments ShopMarkaz is invested in my a venture capital fund so this covers some of my living costs while we take the venture to profitability. You may also invest in one of my ventures to help them happen quicker and take a significant equity stake in them
